Get ready for a spicy showdown! Join us for our Chili Cook-Off, where bragging rights, great beer, and delicious chili are all on the line.
Cook-Off Overview
Participants will prepare their best chili recipe to be judged by attendees and/or a judging panel. Whether you like it mild, smoky, or fiery hot—this is your time to shine.
Entry Rules
- Each participant/team must prepare one chili recipe.
- Chili must be fully cooked prior to arrival.
- Chili must be kept warm using a slow cooker or chafing dish.
- Each entry should provide enough chili for sample-sized servings.
- Participants are responsible for bringing:
- Chili
- Serving utensils
- Extension cords (if needed)
- Any desired toppings (optional)
Safety & Cleanliness
- All food must follow basic food safety standards.
- No raw ingredients may be handled on-site.
- Keep your station clean and contained.
- Fountainhead Brewing Company reserves the right to remove any entry that does not meet safety standards.
Judging & Awards
Chili will be judged based on:
- Taste
- Creativity
- Appearance
- Overall Crowd Favorite
Awards may include:
- 1st Place & 2nd Place Trophies
- Peoples Choice
(Final judging categories subject to change.)
Beer & Conduct
- Fountainhead Brewing Company will have beer available for purchase.
- Please drink responsibly.
- Friendly competition only—good vibes required!
⏰ Schedule
- 2:00–2:45 PM: Participant setup
- 3:00 PM: Cook-Off begins
- 4:00 PM: Voting/Judging ends
- 4:15 PM: Winners announced
